Independent Assessment - Practical test and answer verbal questions
PA1 Level 2 Principles of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides is a prerequisite for this course. PA6INJ Stem Injection Treatment Equipment is for the control of invasive species such as Japanese Knotweed, Giant Hogweed, Himalayan Balsam, Canada Thistle, Poison Hemlock and Yellow Flag Iris.
It is recommended that refresher courses are taken every:
3 - 5 years (spray regularly)
2 - 3 years (do not spray often)
Independent assessments are undertaken on a separate day, a few days after the training.
On-site to groups, email firstname.lastname@example.org for a quote stating how many people you anticipate will attend the course. We run open PA6INJ courses periodically at our Allscott base, subject to demand. Contact us if you wish to be added to the waiting list.
These qualifications are for operators of pesticide application equipment and pest controllers. If you are applying pesticides in a commercial role/commercial quantity then you are legally required by the Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) (Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986) (as amended) to take this qualification.
