The course is delivered by an experienced instructor. It equips learners with the knowledge and skills necessary for the maintenance of your organisation’s machinery’s hydraulic components. In the theory part, the instructor will ensure learners understand the hydraulic aspects of groundcare machinery. They will further that learning through practical demonstrations, before gaining hands-on experience of basic hydraulic operation. They also learn about best practice and how to test for common hydraulic faults.
Please note that learners must have completed the Groundcare Machinery Maintenance – Health & Safety e-learning course before staring this course. This is an online Health and Safety Qualification, completed in approximately 1 hour of self-study.
During the course learners will cover;
- Hydraulics safety
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Hydraulics circuits and component identification
- Preliminary hydraulic maintenance and best practice
- Troubleshooting and resolving common hydraulic faults
- Hydraulic systems testing in groundcare machinery
This is an integrated training and assessment course. Upon successful completion learners will receive a Lantra Awards Certificate of Competence.
